The Theory Test
ensuring that new drivers have a wide knowledge of topics such as attitude, alertness, road and traffic signs, motorways, vulnerable road users

Tests are available on weekdays, evenings and Saturdays.
You will need a UK Driving Licence No and Debit/Credit Card for payment.

Useful Information
The Practical Test
If you fail this, the test will not continue and your test fee will be lost.
2.You will also be asked 2 questions relating to vehicle safety and maintenance. One "tell me" question before you start driving and one "show me" question whilst driving.. If you answer one or both questions
incorrectly a driving fault will be recorded.
3.Most test routes involve town driving and often single and dual carriageway roads with speed limits of more than 30mph but not motorways. you'll be asked to pull up and move away during the test from the side of the road, at an angle from behind a parked vehicle and on a hill.
You may be asked to do an emergency stop.
4. Reversing your vehicle:

The examiner will pull you up at the side of the road to this part of the test. Don't worry if you forget the directions or go wrong. You just need to show that you can make your own decisions and you can ask for a reminder of where to go. You will also be told when this section of the test has finished.
